About the spot

La Falaise is Guidel's beach near the Laïta estuary. Southwest is preferred, with south and west also documented. The spot has open-sea conditions, sandbanks, chop and waves when swell arrives.

The river mouth generates strong currents and requires clearance. Launch from the allocated northern section; marked swimming and kite areas apply in July and August. Beginners should choose conditions with an instructor. Independent riders need reliable upwind control and must not mistake a smooth patch near the estuary for a current-free learning area.
