Kerguélen near Larmor-Plage faces south and receives southwest wind particularly well. Freeriding conditions change with wind, swell and tide. A busy sailing school, other water users and swimmers share the beachfront.

Rocks exposed at low tide remain obstacles when covered. Summer water zoning is especially important. Independent kiting requires a controlled launch and return without drifting into teaching or swimming areas. If clearance is insufficient, choose another time instead of launching among other users.
