Pointe de la Baumette is a highly technical entry in La Ciotat Bay. FFVL identifies southerly wind as ideal. The small shoreline between road, wall and rocks leaves little margin for error; launching may require a planned water procedure.

This is an expert location, unsuitable for first beach starts. Launch with assistance and adequate clearance, use foot protection and verify current corridor rules. Northerly winds arrive disturbed. A fading late breeze can make returning to the narrow exit particularly difficult.
