About the spot
La Salie Nord is an open Atlantic spot south of Arcachon. Northwest wind can work, but swell, shorebreak and rip channels make it demanding. It primarily suits independent riders experienced in surf and current.
A summer kite section is separated from the supervised swimming area. Access is on foot through the dunes using existing paths. Inspect the actual launch and rip channels before riding. La Salie Sud and installations farther south are not equivalent fallback areas.
