About the spot

Lancieux's shallow bay is an important teaching and freeriding area on the Emerald Coast. Sandbanks and tidal height determine usable depth and space. This entry marks the Les Briantais side; other entries around the bay suit different conditions.

The small beach is not automatically an available summer launch. The local association publishes alternative areas and tidal restrictions. Southerly wind can be gusty and offshore despite smooth water. Supervised lessons and a locally selected entry are essential for first sessions.
