About the spot

Riva-Bella at Ouistreham is a coastal riding area west of the Orne estuary. Lower water leaves more sand for launching and landing. Northwest or northeast winds can support freeriding with small waves, while the nearby estuary influences conditions.

High water reduces clearance from sea defences and airflow near shore may be disturbed. Follow swimming zones and designated transit routes. This pin does not permit entry into the ferry harbour or river mouth. Independent riders should avoid land wind.
