About the spot

L’Ariole is the access around the Wind34 base on Lake Salagou. Northwest Tramontane reaches the lake but becomes strongly gusty around the surrounding hills. Red, stony shoreline and limited launch space make it technical.

Spot sources describe tolerated practice, not unrestricted permission around the entire lake. Confirm the current launch and permission with the base before rigging. Trees, other water users and rapidly varying wind require experience. The site is unsuitable for unsupervised beginners; establish sufficient depth and a dependable return.
