About the spot

Siouville-Hague is an exposed wave spot on the western Cotentin coast. The bay receives Atlantic swell, with west and northwest offering demanding sessions for experienced kiters. Southwest is also used but can arrive less evenly because of the surrounding terrain.

This is unsuitable for independent beginners. Surf, tidal current and other wave riders demand control. High water reduces beach space; keep out of swimming and surf-school areas. Assess actual wave size and identify a reachable exit before launching.
