About the spot

Torreilles lies south of the Agly mouth and offers a sea-facing spot on the northern beach for Marin and southerly winds. Stronger sea wind builds waves, primarily suiting riders experienced in surf.

The municipal decree provides for a special water-sport area activated only under specific conditions. An older spot guide therefore does not establish an open summer launch. Confirm current permission and signs at the northern beach post. Avoid dune posts, swimmers and the river mouth; gusty bad weather adds difficulty.
