About the spot

Les Trois Moutons at Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau forms part of the long Tréompan beachfront. West through northeast winds work, with northeast particularly well established. Lower tide can create flatter freeriding sections; rising water and swell bring waves.

The broad sandy area contains scattered rocks and has summer zoning. Teaching and swimming areas are not general-purpose launches. Low tide leaves a long walk to the water, and currents affect the outer area. Supervised learning is possible, but actual surf conditions must be assessed each time.
