About the spot

Urville-Nacqueville is an established watersports area on the northern Cotentin coast. Its sandy beach provides accessible entry at suitable water levels. Northwest and northeast are documented wind sectors, but strong northeast can produce much larger waves than a calm teaching day suggests.

Rocks in front of the nautical centre appear differently with the tide. High spring tides reduce beach space, while low water exposes additional obstacles. Independent riders need local awareness; beginners require supervised conditions and a clear launch briefing.
