About the spot

Fuseta is in sheltered Ria Formosa behind the barrier islands. A local kite school offers lessons and supervised activity with boat support. Suitable water levels provide flat water; at low tide, areas dry out while current continues through channels.

Suitability therefore depends on the tide window and the specific authorised area. The map point is not permission to ride throughout the lagoon. Beginners should book supervised sessions. Boat routes, shellfish activity and protected habitats limit usable space even when the surface appears calm.
