About the spot

The Duck Pond lies in the Exe estuary at Imperial Recreation Ground. Northwest wind can arrive cleanly along the estuary, while higher water fills the shallow riding areas.

Shallow sections must not obscure the risks from channels, mooring buoys and changing tidal flow. The local club publishes detailed riding and wildlife maps.
