About the spot

Joss Bay is primarily a surf beach and a demanding kite option only when there is enough space. Northeasterly winds generate closely spaced waves, while cliffs and reefs constrain launching and return.

Swimmers and surfers take priority. Assess submerged rocks, the tide and the exact return to the launch on site; this is not a learning venue.
