Millisle Beach

About the spot

Millisle on the eastern Ards peninsula offers separate sections of sand and reef. The southern section can produce small waves but remains constrained by reefs and coastal defences.

Before a first session, confirm wind, tide and the safe exit with local riders. A neighbouring bay can already have a substantially different wind angle.

Access & local notes

Prefer mid to low tide. Avoid the northern seal colony and rocks; do not assume lifeguard cover.
