About the spot

The sandy beach east of Ramsgate Harbour is a demanding launch for easterly to southerly winds. Chop and waves meet an area constrained by the harbour, cliff and sea wall.

Easy access does not make this an easy riding spot: reliable upwind ability and an exit plan are essential. The local community recommends an experienced local companion for a first visit.
