About the spot

St Annes on the Fylde coast offers lagoons and very shallow sandbanks. Southwest is a preferred direction; westerlies can produce larger waves farther north.

Check local tidal height and the later exit before launching. Water that looks flat is not necessarily free of currents or deep enough for a long foil mast.

Access & local notes

Use the club area on North Promenade. Avoid the pier and metal drainage structure; expect a long walk at spring low water.
