About the spot

Angelochori lies southwest of Thessaloniki on the Thermaic Gulf. Shallower coastal sections and summer thermal breezes attract freeriders, although wind is not strong enough for a twin-tip every day. Other weather systems can produce substantially more wind and chop.

Local watersports providers offer windsurfing and wingfoiling, which should not be equated with currently available kite lessons. Confirm the kite entry and separation from other sports locally. Lagoon, salt-production and bird habitat areas behind the beach are not extra riding space.
