About the spot

Liani Ammos is on Chalkida's northeastern edge. Its sandy shallows are used for kiteboarding, but changing water levels substantially alter both the riding and beach area. A broad-looking shallow zone may be too shallow at low water, while higher water brings the entry closer to the road.

Lessons and early independent sessions require adequate depth, clear overhead space and a local briefing. The roadside, other beach users and limited depth reduce the margin for mistakes. This is not one of Evia's similarly named beaches near Kymi or farther south.
