About the spot

Kohilari is on the open northwest coast north of Kefalos. A long sandy beach, shallower margins and small waves provide space for tuition and freeriding. Stronger Meltemi increases chop and surf, with smoother strips alternating with wave sections.

The kite centre organises lessons and rental. The venue is outside town and is easiest to reach with your own transport. Check teaching areas and clear launching space before rigging. Kohilari is distinct from the more sheltered, windsurf-oriented Kefalos bay on the opposite coast.
