Mastichari lies on Kos' northwest coast. Summer Meltemi usually brings chop and smaller waves to the sandy shore, with conditions that can differ substantially from Marmari or Kohilari. The local school selects its station according to wind and ability.

Confirm the actual meeting point and kite sector in advance. The ferry harbour and central swimming sections are not alternative launches. Beginners need tuition and suitable surf conditions, while independent riders should leave teaching groups room. A station shuttle is an organised service, not permission to launch anywhere between the beaches.
