About the spot

Skala Kallonis sits on the northern shore of the large Gulf of Kalloni. Its sandy coast offers smoother water, chop or small waves according to the weather. Being inside a gulf does not prevent offshore wind; northerly conditions particularly require a reliable return plan.

Swimmers, the harbour breakwater, shells and shoreline trees constrain entry. It suits independent riders with their own equipment and a local briefing. A currently staffed permanent kite school or rescue station is not confirmed. Keep clear of natural shore habitats and fishing areas.
