About the spot

Keros is a long sandy bay with several water conditions. The central teaching area has shallower patches and chop, while small waves develop in the south. Farther upwind the water becomes smoother but the wind can be offshore. North to northeasterly Meltemi shapes many summer days.

Several schools and independent riders share the bay. Observe launch zones, buoys, swimmers and teaching areas. Use existing access through the sensitive dunes and wetlands. Ride the smooth northern sections only with suitable skills and arranged recovery.
