About the spot

At Rhodes' southern tip, a sand connection separates two very different water areas. One side has waves while the other can offer smooth offshore water in the same wind. Strong Meltemi and busy sessions particularly attract confident freeriders and wave riders.

Check kite, windsurf and wing sections and the sandbar's current usability with a centre. The lee side is not a safe beginner alternative without organised recovery. Water level, surf and wind can flood the connecting sand or reduce launching space.
