About the spot

Kedros lies between Samos town and Kokkari on the exposed north coast. North to northwesterly wind brings waves to a relatively narrow pebbly beach, with rapidly deepening water. Rocks, shorebreak and gusts make it an experienced-rider venue.

Launching and landing space is limited and further reduced by summer swimmers and beach facilities. Confirm the usable area locally and arrange a launch assistant. Kedros is unsuitable for initial unsupervised attempts and is not an automatic substitute for Kokkari's windsurfing bay.
