About the spot

Vravrona has shallower water inside a small bay near Athens' eastern coast. The current watersports operator lists a dedicated launch and teaching area for kite, wing and windsurfing. Shelter can smooth the water while also producing gusty, uneven wind in some directions.

Older spot reports specifically warn about strong gusts and trees around the restricted entry. This is therefore not a recommendation for independent learning. Check the actual kite sector, wind and supervision with the operator; the hotel beach, swimming areas and neighbouring natural areas have separate uses.
