About the spot

Bol is a summer maestral venue on Brač's southern shore. Wind often builds during the afternoon, with deeper water, chop and boat traffic offshore. Independent riding requires reliable upwind skills; beginners can learn with the local school’s boat-supported instruction.

The marker identifies the kite centre on the coast between town and Zlatni Rat. The famous spit is not an unrestricted launch: swimming activity and seasonal restrictions require an agreed entry point. Allow for the return tack and fading evening wind, and explicitly arrange rescue coverage.
