About the spot

Baška is a wind-dependent venue with a tight pebble shore. Northeasterly bora can accelerate strongly through the bay; some nearshore water stays smoother, but chop increases with wind. Launch space is the main difficulty, rather than water texture alone.

The long bathing beach is crowded in summer and includes marked swimming areas. Historical reports describe only conditionally usable edge sections. This is unsuitable for unsupervised beginners. Experienced riders should launch only through a clear, expressly confirmed corridor and avoid improvised rocky entries.

Access & local notes

Summer kite space is often inadequate. Respect bathing zones and do not launch without confirmed access.
