About the spot

Ljubač occupies a sheltered, gently shelving sandy bay northeast of Zadar. Kite Šola North teaches here and chooses between Ljubač and Nin according to weather and ability. The protected shape still contains seawater of varying depth and small wind waves.

The curving beach changes how the same wind meets different launch sections. Maestral, tramontana and bora affect the region; strong bora is unsuitable for learning. Ask the school which section works that day, stay clear of swimmers and inspect the shallow margins particularly carefully before foiling.
