About the spot

At the Neretva mouth, sandbanks and shallow water meet the open Adriatic. Maestral and tramontana provide established kite conditions: sheltered water behind banks is smoother, while waves can form outside. A local school offers tuition, but some sections are too shallow even for a twin-tip.

The compact rigging area and teaching zone can become busy in summer. River flow, very limited depth, stones and power lines near shore require care. Respect swimming, learning and riding sections; avoid jumping over banks or blocking the entry corridor.
