About the spot

The sandy Ždrijac spit separates Nin lagoon from the open sea. The local kite school describes extensive shallows on both sides, making this a useful venue for supervised learning and freeriding. Which side is usable depends on wind, water level and the day’s zoning.

Onshore wind creates more chop outside, while sheltered sections can stay smoother. Standing depth does not guarantee enough clearance for jumping or foiling. Students, independent riders and swimmers need separate space; confirm the launch area with the centre, especially in peak summer.
