Calambrone

About the spot

Calambrone south of Tirrenia has organised kite instruction near the Scolmatore mouth. Westerly wind can arrive cross-onshore. Breakwaters shape the water, creating differences between more sheltered inside sections and the open sea outside.

These structures are obstacles, not a safety net. Schools, swimmers and independent riders need separate space. Beginners should use supervised lessons in modest conditions; surf and strong wind make the spot more demanding. Access must follow the permitted watersports area.

Access & local notes

Confirm the current corridor and entry with the centre; keep clear of breakwaters and the river mouth.
