About the spot

Domaso is a base for boat lifts and kite lessons on northwestern Lake Como. The pin marks the shoreline around the watersports centres; operators choose the actual on-water launch according to wind and traffic. It does not identify an unrestricted beach launch.

Lift services also cater for independent riders, subject to suitable skills. Waterstarts, relaunching and bodydragging must be reliable for an independent lift. Beginners should book instruction. In deep water, recovery arrangements and developing weather are essential parts of planning.
