Gera Lario

About the spot

Gera Lario sits near the Mera mouth at the northern end of the lake. A rigging lawn and shallower shoreline make entry more accessible than at many steep Lake Como beaches. Summer southerly Breva mainly supports afternoon freeriding.

A shallow entry does not make the entire lake standing depth. The harbour, river mouth and teaching activity require clearance and a controlled return. Northerly weather-driven winds can be much gustier and are not equivalent beginner conditions. Initial sessions should be supervised.

Access & local notes

Ask the local centre about the current launch and water level; avoid the river mouth and harbour area.
