Valmadrera – Parè

About the spot

Valmadrera, on the southeastern lake branch, is known for early-morning northeasterly Tivano. The Parè area is the departure point. Its timing and location differ substantially from the afternoon Breva spots on upper Lake Como.

The local operator describes a difficult entry for experienced riders. Boats, harbour structures and limited shoreline require precise control. Organised boat lessons are the appropriate option for learners. Thunderstorm outflows and sudden downslope gusts are not suitable substitutes when the regular morning wind fails.
