Fiumara – Marina di Grosseto

About the spot

Fiumara lies on the open sandy beach south of Marina di Grosseto. Local kite activity is documented with winds from southwest through west to northwest; summer Mistral can receive thermal reinforcement. Expect chop and surf according to conditions, rather than an enclosed lagoon.

Access uses a marked sports area and buoyed corridor. Moderate weather supports instruction, while stronger wind and waves demand experience. Adjacent protected land, inland water and dunes are not alternative riding areas. Independent riders need a dependable return through the surf.

Use the current kite corridor; avoid swimming zones, dunes and protected areas.
