Funtana Meiga

About the spot

Funtana Meiga on the Sinis peninsula is a wave spot with rocky ground and sea urchins. Northwesterly Mistral arrives sideshore; northerlies can become partly offshore. Smaller waves than at Capo Mannu do not make this a beginner beach.

Launching and exit space is limited and needs local knowledge. A local school has a base here but describes beginner lessons at another body of water. Its address therefore does not establish reef-side beach tuition. Check access and current Sinis protected-area rules beforehand.
