About the spot

Baia Verde is the seasonal kite area just south of Gallipoli. Local schools use the bay outside the bathing season. Westerly through southerly winds can work, while winter systems produce substantially bigger waves than calm freeriding days.

The local operator lists May to September as the closed summer period. This entry does not recommend launching among swimmers. Lessons require confirmed access and suitable conditions. Punta Pizzo farther south has different wind angles and conservation considerations and is not treated as equivalent to Baia Verde.
