About the spot

Campione sits on Lake Garda's western shore. Morning northerly Peler and afternoon southerly Ora produce different sessions; stronger wind builds short, steep chop. Deep water requires dependable self-rescue, even though schools teach beginners here.

Launching takes place at the managed club beach through its marked corridor. Membership, liability insurance, a sports medical certificate and recognised riding qualification are among the entry requirements. Assisted launches and safety equipment are mandatory. The published rules explicitly do not guarantee a rescue service.

Access & local notes

Register with the club; follow current equipment and corridor rules. Keep the required shore clearance outside the exit corridor.
