About the spot

Punta Barbacale at Grado Pineta's eastern end is a demanding Bora spot. Water can be smooth behind the small harbour, but obstacles, shallows and muddy ground complicate launching and returning. Reliable upwind riding is essential.

The club states that the spot closes during the bathing season. Conservation boundaries also restrict the eastern area in winter. Very low water prevents riding. This launch suits experienced riders with detailed local knowledge.
