Albenga – Centa mouth

About the spot

Albenga's kite area is around the Centa river mouth. River discharge meets the open Ligurian Sea here, so apparently smooth water near the mouth is not a dependable beginner area. Surf and available launching space change with weather and beach conditions.

Independent sessions require experience with currents and constrained shorelines. A regional operator offers lessons by arrangement and club access. Confirm the actual permitted launch locally, especially in summer. Neither the river mouth nor neighbouring swimming beaches are treated as unrestricted riding areas.
