Manfredonia – Siponto

About the spot

Siponto lies south of Manfredonia on its namesake gulf. A local school provides kite lessons here; its office address should be distinguished from the actual beach meeting point. Suitable conditions allow learning and freeriding on this sandy coast.

Not every wind works equally well: northerly flow can cross land and arrive gusty. No general suitable wind sector is therefore assigned. Beginners need supervision, while independent riders need a confirmed corridor and return route. Harbour proximity, swimmers and the long coastline make precise entry arrangements important.
