About the spot

Passoscuro is an open sandy beach on Fiumicino's coast. Westerly and southeasterly winds can work, with waves increasing as wind strengthens. Lessons and independent sessions need a clearly separated sports area.

The municipality identifies a 2026 kite zone north of Via Stintino. During the bathing season, designation alone is insufficient: an authorised, physically installed corridor and signs are required. Liability insurance is mandatory. Beginners should arrange access with a school; dunes and adjacent bathing areas must remain clear.
