About the spot

Rio Vivo lies south of Termoli's harbour and is used for kite tuition by the local sailing club. Harbour structures affect wind and waves; not every northerly or westerly wind suits the launch. Stronger systems can produce demanding waves.

Lessons depend on the club selecting appropriate conditions. Independent riders need dependable return skills and clearance from shipping, breakwaters and swimmers. Termoli's northern beach may work better with an unsuitable wind angle here; the launches are not interchangeable.
