Moledo Beach
About the spot
Moledo is an Atlantic wave spot with a sandy beach and rocky sections in the water. Summer Nortada conditions make northwesterly winds of particular interest, although strength and surf still need checking at the beach. This is not a sheltered lagoon.
Independent sessions require reliable upwind riding, controlled launching and landing, and experience in surf. Rocks, changing waves and other beach users reduce the apparently generous space. Beginners should agree suitable conditions and a teaching area with a local kite school.
Access & local notes
Locate rocky areas at low water. Use a clear launch corridor and an exit away from swimmers; the wind information does not establish current permission to ride.
