About the spot

Only the southern part of Lutjestrand is designated for kiting. The sheltered area inside the breakwater is small and partly standing depth; outside lies deep, choppy water where reliable upwind control becomes essential.

Keep separate from windsurfing, swimming and private campsite areas. The inner section has a six-kiter limit and is not recommended for instruction because of its confined size. Trees, stone banks and structures increase the consequences of entry mistakes. Protected bird habitat must remain undisturbed.
