About the spot

Brouwersdam's North Sea side is a major Dutch shallow-water venue. Lower tide exposes broad sand and long shallow approaches, with waves farther out. Suitable conditions support both instruction and freeriding.

Heavy use requires clear spacing between lessons, launching riders and passing traffic. Foils have a separate entry into deeper water that should not become a general twin-tip launch. The calmer Grevelingen side behind the dam is a different body of water and does not share this beach's access arrangements.

Access & local notes

Year-round in the kite zone; respect lesson areas and the separate foil entry, and check low-tide depth.
