About the spot

Western Cadzand is reached from the Zwin visitor-centre area followed by a walk to the beach. Offshore conditions include North Sea waves and tidal currents. The usable launch beach changes width as water levels rise and fall.

Rows of posts and coastal obstacles may disappear at high tide, favouring experienced riders over independent beginners. The neighbouring protected Zwin is not an additional kite lagoon. Keep launching and riding inside the designated sea zone, clear of swimmers and conservation areas.
