About the spot

Camperduin combines an exposed North Sea beach with a small lagoon behind it. Offshore conditions include waves, currents and tidal banks. The lagoon can provide smoother water at sufficient depth, but kiting there is limited to the winter half-year.

Only a few kites can crowd this small area. It is not an unlimited beginner practice zone. Wait rather than squeeze between shore and other lines. Using the North Sea requires suitable wave and self-rescue skills regardless of the lagoon's conditions.

An exceptionally demanding specialist spot for pro-level riders. Extreme spot hazards require precise control, local knowledge and agreed safety support.
