About the spot

Galgenveld is a confined entry for highly experienced riders. A shallow margin leads into choppy Markermeer water. Basalt rocks and a difficult shore transition constrain safe use more than the open riding area suggests.

Grass can be slippery, so experienced launch assistance matters. The field is used for grazing and should be treated respectfully. Parking is at the bathing beach, followed by a walk. NKV specifically warns about the difficult entry; beginners should choose another venue.
